NOTE ON GPS SUPPORT: Strava depends on GPS for recording activities. In some devices, the GPS does not work properly and Strava will not record effectively. If your Strava recordings show poor location estimation behavior, please try to update the operating system to the most recent version. There are some devices which have consistently poor performance with no known remedies. On these devices, we restrict installation of Strava, for example the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 and the Galaxy Express 2.

Used to work great, but after the recent update a couple weeks ago the app is no longer working. Keeps saying "an error has been corrected" when trying to record trips. The GPS, distance, speed, and routes are all inaccurate. Wish they wouldn't have tried to fix something that wasn't broken. It's also annoying that they're always trying to push the paid subscription on users, even though it offers only slightly more usable features vs the free app did before it became full of errors.

Solid app, but most features have been slowly moved into the subscription so that as a free user, you are essentially just giving the company your data. Other basic fitness apps have feature parity with the free version now, so unless you're ready to pay I would explore alternatives. To add insult to injury, in 2025 they have sued Garmin with some patents that never should have been granted. The second any issue with Garmin linking occurs I will delete this and never use it again.

Because I don't have a fancy watch with GPS built-in (I'm a very beginner runner)all my activity is being flagged as "in a vehicle" and it wants me to split my activity into 6 sections to crop out areas where the GPS cut out. I was trying the app out to see if I want to purchase the annual subscription, and because of this issue, I will not be. Also,I tried to remove the flags and ot says "problem connecting to server", which i also reported and no response.
